Grey Matter

My experience and background is in illustration, graphic & web design,brand development and page layout with an outlook on digital media and traditional media.

The techniques I apply range from mixed media to graffiti, combining various forms of design, illustration, typography as well as logo design, brand development & character design to achieve results. I also dabble in conceptual art and traditional media.

I love people, art, entertainment and culture. I've combined these into an AA in Anthropology, while still keeping up with current design trends.

My Equipment

 

I use a variety of tools and methods from traditional to digital media. Here's a break down of some of my favorites!

Equipment

My traditional artwork generally starts with my set of graphite drawing pencils. Then, I might add ink from a Sharpie, Sakura or Staedtler pen. For coloring, I'll use a variety of things from water based markers, Sharpies, Prismacolor Markers, highlighters or even Photoshop. I paint using acrylics and spraypaint, at times with added ink outlines and mixed media.

I create all my digital work on an Apple iMac, occasionally using a Wacom Bamboo tablet utilizing Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, InDesign and a variety of other applications to help along.
